What a great baby-cation Norris and I had in London.  I had never been there and Norris had only been there for 2 days and never saw anything because he was taking a test!  So we decided to head back and see a little bit of London.  It was beautiful London weather, sunny during the day and then the clouds would come in and it would start to drizzle!  Oh it was divine!

Here are some of the things we did our first day there!

The pictures are out of order, but we had a romantic Burger King dinner before our flight, witnessed a "fight" on our plane before we took off, went to see the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, Had an amazing lunch, and went and saw Wicked.

It was a pretty incredible first day!  

Special Moment

Last night we did the typical routine at the Ham House.  I gave Jovee a bath while daddy serenaded us with the guitar.  When we finished we got into our P.J.'s and then Jovee came up to me and just put her head on my tummy.  After about 5 minutes I moved her to my shoulder and GONERS!  She was out cold.  I could not remember the last time my daughter feel asleep on me.  

Norris tried to say that we should wake her up because she might not go to sleep for the night, then he just looked at us and said "never mind ENJOY!"  and let me tell you I did!!

 

STICKERS

It seems like such a simple task, play with stickers.  Unfortunately stickers are not easy to find in Cairo, if you can find them at all.  Our friend brought some over from the States and she let Jovee have a sheet of them to play with.  They are so fun!!  The first couple of times we played with them Jovee did not quite get the idea, but she has quickly got the hang of it!  We would play with them while we were coloring and then peel them off our picture and put them back on the sheet so we could use them again!! 

Today she decided that Poop (Winnie the pooh) and Ms. Bear needed to play with us!

 

Window Washers

It is sandstorm season here in Cairo and we have been getting rain and wind and sand for the last couple of weeks.  It has been bothering Norris that our windows are getting streaks and full of gunk, so he decided it was time to wash them. 

And of course Jovee wants to help!!

 

Baking

I was making cookies for the 6th grade teachers and Jovee really wanted to help me.  I really was not feeling like cleaning up her "help" but I was feeling guilty that I was not letting her help me!  So we came up with a different idea.  I let her cook some cotton balls!!!  They were white just like the flour mommy was using so it worked great!!
