Fun on Fridays!

We love getting dressed up for Church on Fridays!  It is so much fun.  It is even more fun when we get to wear pretty dresses from our Grandma!!

This is why I no longer get good pictures of Jovee....She keeps wanting to show me her foot or her "button" (belly button)

Play Date

We had a fun play date with some of our friends today!  James AND Kate were able to come over and play.  Jovee was able to show them all her toys!  She loved pushing James around on her airplane!

                                            Then of course we had to run on the bean bag!

Kate was counting for Jovee but she did not quite understand.  Kate was telling her to come back and start over!!!

We love when we can have fun play dates with great friends!  We are also glad that many of our friends are retuning home so we will be able to have many more play dates!

Animal Sounds

I finally got a video of Jovee making her animal sounds.  I have been trying to get a video for months but when she see's the camera she can't concentrate on her sounds anymore!!!!!!  I had to do this at night so it is very dark.  You may just want to listen to her!!!

So hope you enjoy...my favorites are the cats that "moo" and turkey that says "bada, bada" and the camel that says "KKKAAAA"...and really they do say that!

Photo-shoot and Photoshop

Jovee and I had a great time while daddy was at work today.  We had a fun photo shoot!  I think Jovee has finally figured out that I need to take at photo of her first before she looks at the back of the camera.  I hope that we have figured this out because it will make life MUCH easier around here!!!

Day 8 "Eiffel Tower/Cairo"

Our last morning in Paris.  We rushed out of bed and ran to the Eiffel Tower.  We did not have a chance to climb up the tower.  There are just way too many things to do in Paris!  We did want to get some fun photos in front of the tower though.  Jovee was a sweetie.  Even though we were in a hurry she just slept on Norris's shoulder.  Poor girl was wiped out from this trip!

It was great to see the Tower in the morning.  We went one other time during our trip but we saw it in the evening.  There were a ton of people there waiting in line to climb to the top, and it was only 8 in the morning!!!

We got some fun family pictures and then headed back to the apartment get our stuff to head back to Cairo.  Thinking our departure could not be any more stressful than take-off we headed to the airport.  Oh were we wrong.  Our flight was scheduled on-time.  We got to our gate and then just waited, and waited, and waited.  Finally they let us board the buses to take us to the plane.  Again we were put on the bus to only wait it out.  They were looking for a man they had lost.  Not sure how you lose a passenger but whatever.  During this hour Jovee was asleep on my shoulder.  We were really frustrated because had we taken off on time Jovee would have slept on the flight!  Oh well!!!  We got to the plane and again we just waited.  They kept making announcements that they needed to find this man for security reasons.  Did not make you feel very safe that is for sure.  We kept watching as the flight attendants were walking up and down the isles counting people and looking at our tickets.  Craziness!!!!  Apparently they found the missing man and after 2 1/2 hours we finally took off!!!

Well the Joverton was wide awake by then and Norris and I were exhausted!!!!  But we had the i-pad which saved our lives.  She just looked at pictures and watched "Monster's Inc." for 4 hours!!!!  Thank you Apple!!!!!

We finally landed and got our car, with no problems and headed back to our house!  Jovee slept for 12 hours and then took a 3 hour nap the next day!  Poor girl was worn out!!!!

What a great trip and wonderful memories to have for the rest of our lives!!!!!  Thank you Paris for putting up with the Ham family for 8 days!!!!
